Kenya’s Samburu National Reserve is one of our favourite game parks and Elephant Bedroom Camp is the place we like to stay. Set amid doum palms on the banks of the Ewaso Nyiro, Elephant Bedroom is an ideal base from which to explore the park. Accommodation comprises 12 spacious tents, each with its own verandah overlooking the river and the main lounge area is a great place to relax with a cold beer while you watch the elephants that regularly wander through the camp.
